Specialises in: Ophthalmology, ENT, the health of healthcare practitioners and end of life care.
Although I was born in the UK, I spent much of my childhood in the USA and returned to an international 6th form school in Wales. These early experiences shaped much of how I view the world today. I then studied medicine at the University of Bristol graduating in 1999. My hospital training was split between Bristol and Brisbane and provided a great foundation for general practice.
I was appointed a partner at The Family Practice in 2008.
My clinical interests include ophthalmology, ENT, the health of healthcare practitioners and end of life care.
I am the nominated lead for CQC compliance, and for the Healthwest federation with our neighbouring practices. I am also responsible for marketing the practice.
Outside of work, I am kept very busy by the hectic schedules of my three children. However, I do find time to run regularly and love watching many sports, especially Welsh rugby. I also enjoy music of many varieties and am a regular concertgoer.
